johnkeyworth.com is a personal blog showcasing a 24 year involvement in electronic music performance and production.
It’s an ever-expanding record collection that’s shared with the world, so here you’ll find brand new up-to-the-minute CD-length DJ mixes, remastered classic-house mix tapes, tracks I wrote myself and remixes of other artists’ material. It’s a hobby strictly for my own listening pleasure, but people seem to like them so I happily share them online right here. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
In addition, you’ll find lots of information on the history of House music, from it’s humble roots in 70s Disco, right through to the present-day myriad of genres that have stemmed from it’s birth. If you want to know how it all started, make sure you check out the video section for the “History of House” documentary - it’s an entertaining learning experience!
